Our second Demo will be delivered by Anirudh, founder of Khao Foods, a circular food startup based in the Netherlands that transforms surplus and rejected Dutch vegetables into flavourful sauces and meal solutions designed to reduce food waste and make sustainable eating more practical and enjoyable.
"I started my career in engineering in the US, but over time I felt drawn toward food, culture, and the bigger systems behind how we eat. My passion to reduce food waste created Khao Foods as a business that combines sustainability, flavour, and storytelling in a way that feels both culturally relevant and modern.
Through Khao Foods, I’m building products that give overlooked produce a second life, while also developing a subscription model and community-led food experiences that help people cook better, waste less, and connect more deeply with the food they eat."
